San Felipe for Spring Break! The weather was perfect, and so were the fish tacos! I actually had shrimp which were even better! We rode the motorcylces and quads, and the barney(sand rail). We swam, and picked up shells for the summer sale. We shopped in town and helped the local economy which is so sad. Dave took the kids fishing in the boat and each one reeled some in. The neighbor Joe helped the kids fish from the shore. Then in the evening on Thursday the grunion ran! It was a crack up to watch the kids flop down on the beach to catch them! We ate smores, and dutch oven goodies! It was so relaxing!
The car ride down is always a treat. 6 hours. The car ride home was even better this time. Dave didn't bathe the WHOLE time we were there. His man stink was a little much for me. At one point I wondered if he would notice if I tried to sit in the back with the kids. The border patrol agent passed us through faster than ever before. NO Secondary Check Point to search further for us. I think we could have camouflaged the stink from a dead body!
PS I took these pictures but not in San Felipe. I still haven't downloaded those pictures yet! Lazy I know.

A Weekend Owed
So Dave went to the races and got to do all those greasy things that happen in a pit crew. Now it's my turn. All I really want is to eat and have a pedicure. Where to go on a girls weekend?

Dave's Many Adventures

Dave the High Adventurer went for another little weekend getaway. This time he went to Laughlin to work with the pit crew for a race team(BJ Balldwin)! He flew home with James and JD in James's 4 seater plane!
PS Sorry I had to delete a few posts. They had too much personal info in them. We don't want any unwanted visitors... or maybe we do!

The Omen

I have been feeling an unusual amount of stress lately. I won't get too graphic with the details, but suffice it to say that I have been in a funk. Really since Lily was born.... but that's a whole other post or multiple posts. I have been worried about money, I have been worried about Dave, I have been worried about the kids. I worry especially about the lack of motivation I seem to feel about cleaning, among other things. I also way over-booked myself last month. So this morning I decided when I woke at 6:00 because I couldn't sleep that I would go walking. So I donned my tennies and left. I got myself all worked into a tizzy and then a felt a splat on my cheek. I thought I'm not crying what is that? Well it was bird poop. A bird pooped on my face today. Gross. I thought great, that's just great, you know kinda like icing on the cake, but not. I think it might have been an omen. I think things are going to get crappier. I sure hope not! There's my positive side, I knew I had one somewhere! (that was sarcasm) sigh. Being deficated on by a bird is about all the extra feces I can take right now.

Backyard Baptism

I shared this story in Relief Society on Sunday. I am a spiritual giant. The lesson was on supporting the Priesthood, it was the priesthood's birthday:
Phoenix came to the backdoor asking for a white t-shirt. "Mom, can I have the big white t-shirt that Willow sleeps in?" I say, "no, you're swimming right now." "Mom, I need it for in the pool." "No, Phoenix I don't want a bunch of laundry to add to the mess I already have to clean up in the back yard." "Okay." Then Phoenix asked the same question 30 more times until I yell, "DO NOT ASK ME FOR ANYTHING." I am sitting near where they are swimming but not watching very closely. All of a sudden I realize Poppy is drowning and Phoenix is holding her under. I jump up to reuscutate her. When I have surmised that she is well and breathing again, I yell at Phoenix. "WHAT THE CRAP ARE YOU DOING? TRYING TO KILL HER?" He looks at me and says in the most innocent voice you have ever heard, " I was baptizing her, she was really sin-y." Ahh the priesthood is alive and well in the Snow household.

Okay so if you know me, you know I love my minivan. It gets good gas milage it holds a bunch of people and it has leather seats....What more could you want? I'm not impressed by cars. I'm wierd. I know. I just don't get it. The more dumb and the fewer miles to the gallon they get the cooler? Anyways I saw this on my friends fb and oh my I love it.
