I Miss My OB

I know you are thinking huh? That has to be a typo, right? Well it's not. I have gone to the same OB/GYN for almost all of my 4 children for prenatal and postnatal care. Her name is Rita. She's the greatest thing since, well, tampons. I even saw Rita when I had some trouble before I had children! That means I have been seeing her for nearly 9 years. She has been witness to some of my finest moments and some of the ugliest.
This is what makes a good OB in my opinion:

They can make jokes while giving you an exam.
They can entertain an extra kid with a speculum
They don't laugh when you are so hormonal and cry to them
They laugh when you are so hormonal and cry to them
They don't say anything when you didn't shave because you couldn't see
They look just as shocked as you when you are pregnant at your 6 week check-up
They don't hang up when you call them on their personal line
They give you an extra ultra-sound when you just need to SEE the baby
They love the miracle of life
They don't care when a kid barfs in the waiting room
They will check other parts on your body so you don't have to see another doc
They make you appointments with mental health when you really are crazy
They give prenatal care to rockstars and refuse to be videoed by MTV

You see about 2 1/2 to 3 years after I have a baby I have always returned to see Rita to start over again. This time I will not be returning. There will be no more babies. I am sad. That was always a fun part of being pregnant, seeing Rita every month or more. I guess I could fake something?

For the Love

I have followed Nie's blog for a long time. Actually, since I started my own blog. I laughed with her before her accident about her children, and then I cried with her during her accident. I got to know her sisters who cared for her children while she was sleeping.

I add my testimony to hers, that we can be close to our Father in times of need. He loves us. He loves me (and you too)!

If you want to check out Nie's blog just scroll down on my side bar and there's a link that says, "I read Nie Nie"

You all know I adore my children. But some days it's a lot easier to love them than others. Today it was REALLY easy. Number 2 got an award at the semester assembly. I knew she could do it!

We're all a BUZZ

Here's the new hive and our favorite Bee Keeper in his sexy new costume. We will soon be waist deep in Honey!

Mormons Make HOT Werewolves

So the month of November flew by and I was planning on doing a post about when I dated the olympic volleyball player... but that will have to wait for another time. I just saw this totally hot picture of my friend and she has her hands all over Kiowa Gordon. Boy I wish I had my hands all over Kiowa Gordon... don't you. Ida has all the luck. Oh yeah she slept on the ground for 3 days to touch him. FOr those of you who aren't 14-16 thats Embry in New Moon. Embry is one of the Wolf Pack. Werewolf Pack. Smokin shirtless hot werewolf pack. Here's the kicker..... he's a totally sweeeeeeeet kid from Stephanie Meyers home ward in Az. That's right ladies he's not only hot, a werewolf (techincally shape shifter) but LDS, too. Does it get any better than that? If I were a few years younger I might have to stalk him.

I think it's so cool that I am way more of a groupie than any of my highschool students. It's even cooler that I am considering buying the Edward Barbie Doll to play with. OKAY OKAY OKAY i already bought it. Anyway reading is good. If a book can spurn this much chaos I think that's hot. I think Stephanie Meyers is H.O.T.
